The Okanogan Valley Land Council protects the Okanogan’s open space and working lands. We accept and manage conservation easements received from private land owners; engage the public in land conservation issues, projects and education; and help owners preserve family land for future generations.
Vision
OVLC is the primary land trust in the Eastern Okanogan and Western Ferry counties for protecting farms and ranches and preserving open spaces and wildlife habitat.
OVLC seeks to be a catalyst for a broad, widely shared effort to sustain our rural culture and protect the unique qualities of this special region for present and future generations.
OVLC enthusiastically partners with agencies, organizations, landowners, and Okanogan Valley residents to ensure the sustained beauty and vitality of our unique region.
