Okanogan Valley Land Council

OVLC relies on individuals and grants to carry out its work.

Invest in the Okanogan's future
The opportunities we have now to preserve our working lands and rural culture are once-in-a-lifetime. We have one chance, and while we are delighted at our early progress, the challenge is huge. So please join us as a member. We consider your financial support not a gift to be consumed, but an investment that will generate substantial positive returns for present and future generations. We consider our members full partners in our vital work, and we are actively soliciting increasing levels of support at this critical time in our region's history.

The Okanogan Valley Land Council is a 501(c)3 charitable organization; donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Volunteer OVLC relies on the help of many as it works to identify and protect special lands in the Okanogan. We have been grateful for the kind and helpful offers of a wide variety of skills-from Information Technology support to help with planting or fencing. Please consider donating some of your time and skills to help further our work.

Current needs

  • Land Protection: assistance with baseline data collection, planting
  • Education and Outreach: volunteers needed with skills in environmental education, planning events, writing announcements and newsletters, as well as cooking, baking and other food-related skills
